Mynah Films is a production company established with the purpose of creating socially-conscious, inspiring films in an environmentally-responsible manner.

Earlier this year we finished post-production for Fiona’s Script, a debut feature film that explores a young bisexual woman’s struggle to balance her dreaming and waking lives.

Production of Fiona’s Script took place during August of 2008. The film was shot primarily in beautiful Oakland, California, as well as Berkeley and San Francisco. The film had its World Premiere at MethodFest in March 2009, and is now enjoying its festival run. See below for upcoming screenings!

Fiona’s Script had its World Premiere at MethodFest in March of 2009, where it garnered a “Best Supporting Actress” Nomination for Giovannie Espiritu’s performance as Mara.

It then went on to play at Frameline, the world’s largest LGBT film festival, in our lovely home, the San Francisco Bay Area. We had two packed (one sold-out) screenings in June, one on each side of the Bay.

In July, the film was part of Outfest, LA’s own LGBT fest.
